Pavlov has Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy (basically Counterstrike) Gun game aswell as custom game modes like TTT and Prop Hunt. Weapons Both games have the usual pistols, shotguns, assualt rifles etc. Onward has some more tactical equipment like the Night Vision goggles and a deployable drone. Pavlov has some less serious stuff like double barrelled shotguns and uzis. They both handle recoil differently with Pavlov easier to use pistols one handed but actually has more recoil when 2 handing assualt rifles etc. Onward doesnt like firing pistols one handed with more recoil but when you use 2 hands for all the weapons they have very little recoil to deal with. (check video for examples) Maps Onward has more base game maps and both games base maps are made to a high standard. Pavlov is all about the custom maps though. There are loads including many counterstrike maps, halo maps, call of duty maps, a zelda inspired map, goldeneye maps. You will spend most of your time in these custom maps. Onward has custom maps now but this was only added recently so there arent anywhere near as many and most games are still using the base maps. Both games are great, Pavlov is faster paced with lots of game modes and maps thanks to a thriving community. You can play it as a straight Counterstrike clone or go for something faster like team deathmatch. Onward is slower and more tactical, you need to work with your team mates more and communicate. It's second weekend will definitely get hurt by A Quiet Place 2. AQP and was well received and the sequel will have more interest for OW. It also opened with the same theater count as Kong: 3, 800. Mulan could be a problem if it's already bombing, but Kong held well the week Beauty came out with a 47% drop and a loss of 180 theaters, so if the audience supports GvK it will survive. It's release date is fine, there's competition, but not enough to steal away theaters if the audience wants to see it. It's just up to whether people want to see the movie based on the premise, the previous films and the marketing.
